Thinking of making a podcast?  Podcasts are now all the rage.  If you want to make a podcast, you can send your message to the world.

Podcasting is better than hosting a radio show in your local city.  It's bigger than writing a newspaper column in your state.  Anyone can listen to you anywhere.

20 percent of Internet users now download podcasts every week.  Conservative estimates say they listen on average for 4 hours a week.  US statistics tell us that podcasting is really taking off.

While a lot of good books have been written about how to set your podcast up, most focus on the technical aspects of podcasting.

Talkshow Communication wants to add to those books and websites by helping you produce not just a podcast but one that has great content.

The podcast explosion

When podcasts were introduced in 2004, just under a million people in the US downloaded them regularly.  In 2005, it multiplied more than five times, and five million people downloaded audio content.

As more people are downloading content, more people are making podcasts on just about every topic you can think of.  If you want to make a podcast, you'll be joining thousands around the world.

By 2010, industry experts expect 62 million people will download and listen to audio podcasts on mobile devices or their PC.

Of course if you listen to some podcasts you'll quickly discover a lot of podcasts are very poor quality.  What we want to help you do is amke your podcast stand out of the rest.  This site is all about making a podcast.  Not just an ordinary one but one people will want to listen to.

Ride the wave and create your own podcasts

Producing exciting audio content is a privilege that, until recently, was the domain of broadcasting professionals.  But now it is within your reach. You can now easily produce powerful podcasts that sound great and attract listeners.
